"More significantly, it seems that Ka Ho Karl started to create without having a precise idea about what the final result would be. He moved like a medium between different sketches and preliminary studies, distributing here and there the ideas and suggestions that grew out of the silence of his creative being. His pictures, born out of chance encounters with matter, thus may be compared with those fractional crystallizations that can be obtained from a complex solution.
